I am Rakesh Kumar Soni resident of India, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal. Born in a small town named Dhar (Madhya Pradesh) in 1963. Art is inherent to me from my father Mr. Goverdhanlal Soni. He was court artist of King Holkar of Dhar State. My passion towards art had grown enough in my early childhood and I could clear the intermediate grade Drawing examination at the age of 12.

For a good living, I chose Mechanical Engineering and builtmy career in Indian Railways as Senior Section Engineer. I explored multiple places and played a variety of job profiles during the tenure. Throughout my professional career, my passion towards Art kept growing. I strongly believe,my engineering experience and approach helped me keep polishingthe artist within me.

The year 2016 was a big break through, during my posting at Bhopal in 2014-2016, I have completed my fine art diploma from Indira Kala SangitKala VishwavidhyalayaKhairagarh, CG. After completing my diploma, I have been participating in group shows all over India and won remarkable prizes.
